As family caregivers turned advocates who were so inspired by my mother’s decade long journey through Alzheimer’s, we launched Cannabis Helps Dementia podcast, and started Coach Chela Consulting. We also published our first in a series of CannaGuides - a study-guide style - book series. We’re back into family caregiving with my dad’s recent diagnosis - putting all of our knowledge to the test. We’ve recently expanded CannaGuides to online presentations in order to reach a wider audience and joined the Emerald Road. CannaGuides education initiative brings what we’ve learned - and continue to learn - directly to older adults, where they live and gather. Yeah, we’re going out to independent and assisted living facilities, senior centers, health fairs and expos tryna get Grass to Granny - and folks who are new to cannabis as a wellness tool.
